Following a bad Covid last year I developed covid exhaustion. After two weeks in bed I graduated to the couch. Three months later I was still on the couch, and still feeling exhausted. One evening a friend rang me to say she’d suffered similar covid exhaustion and been cured by a wonderful acupuncturist. Perhaps I should book a session with Omayma?
Acupuncture, me? I look away when getting an injection. But I booked an appointment.
The following Monday an exhausting five minute walk brought me to Omayma’s clinic in Marchmont. She seemed a most friendly and efficient lady and though I had no experience of acupuncture I felt I would be in good hands. I lay down on her couch and in went the needles. All 35 of them, some even one-and-a-half inches long…
But I hardly felt a thing. Really.
Then overnight a miracle happened.
I woke up feeling as if I had been recharged with pure energy. Gone was most of my exhaustion. Two days later I was back to behaving as in pre-covid times. Thanks to Omayma’s sensitivity and skill I have got my life back.’
